The Ask:
In conjunction with an international sporting event, our financial client needed a content hub for exclusive, invited members. The app needed to accommodate livestream content, 3D interactive tours, and VIP chat functions for a unique experience to delight users. We also needed to consider the invite flow and to make sure only the invited users could create an account and sign on on their unique invite code.
Snippets:
- Users were being invited from a specific pool of customers, so the app needed to have a streamlined way to allow invitation confirmation.
- The app has a schedule of live events alongside exclusive 3D AR tours of the various locations of the event.
- Coordination with the 3D video team was essential. As the UX Strategist, I was in charge of facilitation of collaborating with the video team before they traveled to the location.
- The deliverables included user flows and wireframes.

Results
The app launched on schedule for the live event. Users were delighted with the 3D interactive tours of the location and the exclusive live content. The client reported a 40% sign up rate from the invitee pool and strong user retention as content was drip-fed into the app over the course of the event.
